How Much Cost For Visa In India
Visa applications to India can be made directly at an Indian Visa Application Center (VAC) in any country that the applicant is residing. The single entry visa for India is valid for up to three months from the date of issue and can only be used once. Applications should be made in person at the VAC, but online applications are possible from most countries.

India reopens medical visa for Bangladeshis after 2 months
India has reopened medical visa for Bangladeshi citizens after a period of two months. Following this 45 Bangladeshis have travelled to India through Benapole port on medical visas in the last three days. The Government of Bangladesh had imposed a travel ban to and from India from 26 April to curb the spread of Covid-19. A good number of Bangladeshis visit India on medical visas regularly. However, due to the travel ban, the treatment process of many people got disrupted. People dealing with complex conditions suffered the most.The Government of India has also shown a positive response and opened medical visa for Bangladeshi citizens.

Visas for students who want to study in the U.S. is priority
The United States Embassy and Consulate General in India have wanted to issue visas to students planning to study in the United States of America (USA). Students who want to pursue programmes at various levels for the academic year 2021-22 have been encouraged to apply.
Robert Batchelder, the consular section chief, US Consulate General Mumbai has said that before the pandemic, Indian students were the second largest population of the foreign students in US universities after.

Support for fintechs announced by ICICI Bank and Visa in India
Digital payments technology company, Visa, announced a collaboration with ICICI Bank for its ‘Visa in a Box’ programme which will facilitate fintech companies tso access application programming interfaces (APIs) and the developer sandbox of Visa and ICICI Bank to build, test, and deploy applications for consumer payments. ICICI Bank has launched co-branded prepaid cards with three fintechs, one each in business expense management, business banking, and neo banking. Examples of services include loyalty solutions, digital KYC, innovations in designs of cards, and payment gateway facilities.

Indian passport holders to get visa-free entry into 16 countries
The Minister of State for External Affairs had said that 16 countries will be providing a visa-free entry to India passport holders. Apart from this, there are 43 countries which will be providing visa-on-arrival facilities and other 36 countries providing e-visa facilities.
The 16 countries which will be visa-free facilities to the India passport holders are Barbados, Bhutan, Nepal, Haiti, Hong Kong, Bhutan, Senegal, Hong Kong SAR, the Maldives, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Vincent, Samoa, Niue Island, the Grenadines and Montserrat.
The Minister has also stated that continued efforts are being made to increase the number of e-visa facilities, visa-on-arrival and free-visa travel.
