Taiwan Visa For South African Citizens

Are you a South African citizen looking to travel to Taiwan? If so, you will need a Taiwan visa. While it is possible to get a visa on arrival at the airport, we recommend applying for your Taiwan visa in advance. This will ensure that you do not have any problems when you arrive in Taiwan. The process of applying for your Taiwan visa is quite simple. You only need to submit passport photos and proof of employment or study in order to apply for this type of visa.

If you are planning on staying longer than 30 days, then it is recommended that you apply for a long-term multiple entry visa instead of an ordinary one-time entry visa. You can apply once per year with no restrictions on how long you must remain outside of Taiwan before re-entering again later on down the road. This type of visa is ideal if you plan on making regular trips back home during breaks from school or work during each year while living abroad as well as over time when returning frequently without having to wait in line again each time before going through customs again!

Can You Extend a Taiwan Visa?

Whether you can apply for a Taiwan visa extension depends on the type of visa you are issued.

If you receive a visa which states “No Extension Will Be Granted”, you may not apply for a visa extension, unless the Taiwan Bureau of Consular Affairs approves the request and changes your non-extendable visa to an extendable one.

If your visa does not state “No Extension Will Be Granted”, then you can submit a Taiwan visa extension application at a local office of the Taiwan National Immigration Agency.

Conclusion

We believe that the importance of the tourism sector for Taiwan’s economy and therefore for the sustainability of the Taiwanese people, coupled with our concern for the problems presently faced by South African nationals in getting a visa from Taiwan, have warranted our presentation of this humble petition to help us achieve this goal.
