We all want to know where are best places to work in the world. We want to know the best places for salary, where we’ll get more vacation days and more importantly, which companies respect their employees and can be considered ‘best places to work’.

Where are the best places to work in the world?   That’s what job search engine Indeed wanted to find out. They compiled a list of the top 100 companies from around the globe and then asked employees to rate them on various factors such as Culture and Values, Leadership, and Wellness, among others. The result is an excellent resource for anyone looking for a job or seeking ideas for their own company.

The London-based hiring portal Glassdoor has released a list of the Best Places to Work in 2018, based on anonymous reviews and ratings by its users who were asked to nominate companies with exemplary workplace environments. The ranking showcases employers which invest in workplace conditions, performance management systems, and perks that encourage employee retention and foster a healthy work–life balance.

The following list is a compilation of the best places to work in the world as of May 2019. We have considered hundreds of companies and compiled a list based on factors such as employee satisfaction, employee retention rates, and employer branding.

Best Places to Work in the World

The Best Places to Work in the World list is an annual ranking of the world’s top 100 companies to work for, created by Fortune magazine and global research firm Great Place to Work. The list includes publicly held companies headquartered in each country with more than 5,000 employees.

The ranking is based on a data-driven methodology that incorporates feedback from employees who completed Trust Index employee surveys between November 2018 and February 2019. The survey measures how workers rate their organizations on more than 50 different metrics grouped into four key areas: credibility, respect, fairness and pride.

My employer, Amundi Asset Management, is one of the best places to work in the world. That’s according to our great friends at Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine, who recently put us on their only-a-handful-of-companies list for 2019. As a global company with offices in more than 30 countries, we couldn’t be prouder to receive this recognition that speaks to our internal culture of diversity and inclusion.

Amundi Asset Management – Paris, France

  • Amundi Asset Management is a subsidiary of Amundi Group, one of the largest asset management companies in Europe.
  • Paris is a great city to work and live in. It’s one of the most important financial centers in the world, and it’s home to some of the most famous names in finance: BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole Group and Société Générale for example.
  • Amundi employs more than 3 000 people worldwide; 500 are based in Parisian headquarters at La Défense business district where you’ll find everything from offices to shops including restaurants and cafes.

Salesforce – San Francisco, California

Salesforce is a cloud computing company that provides customer relationship management, enterprise social networking and marketing automation software over the Internet. It was founded in 1999 by former Oracle employees Marc Benioff and Parker Harris, who then approached high-ranking Oracle executives Dave Moellenhoff and George Hu to lead the new company. Salesforce was accepted into Y Combinator’s seed funding program in 2004, where it was incubated until 2010; during that time it raised $2 million from angel investors including Ron Conway, Paul Buchheit and David Sacks. In 2005 Salesforce launched its first iteration of Software as a Service (SaaS), the cloud computing model pioneered by Salesforce which allows customers to pay only for what they use rather than having to buy any hardware or software upfront like with traditional products

Google – Mountain View, California

Google is one of the most well-known tech companies in the world, and it has a reputation as one of the best places to work. It’s no surprise why: Google offers employees a lot of perks and benefits, including free food, gyms with classes like yoga and Pilates, massages at work, on-site doctors who will come to see you immediately if needed. But these aren’t even their best perks! They also have massage therapists available at any time during business hours (or after hours) in case you can’t make it out of your office chair due to exhaustion. They also offer personal chefs on campus who cook meals for all employees every day that they’ll just leave on your desk when they’re done preparing them—and did we mention there are only two options each day? You get chicken or fish; there isn’t even an option for beef or pork anymore because everyone knows those animals are evil anyways so why would anyone want them anywhere near this company?

Microsoft – Redmond, Washington

For decades, Microsoft has been a mainstay of the tech world. The company is headquartered in Redmond, Washington and employs more than 120,000 people worldwide. Microsoft develops hardware such as the Xbox One gaming console and the Surface tablet line; it also produces software for PC operating systems such as Windows 10 (which replaced Windows 8) and mobile platforms like iOS and Android.

The company’s products are used by consumers around the world to manage their digital lives—from creating documents to editing photos or playing video games—while businesses rely on its applications to run their operations.

Omega Advisors – London, England

London is a great place to live. The city has a population of over 8 million people and is one of the most visited cities in the world, with 30 million tourists each year. And if you have your heart set on working there, it’s worth noting that London has been named as one of the top 10 places to work in 2018 by several external organizations like Forbes and The Telegraph.

The company Omega Advisors was founded by David Slaine in 1992. As such, they are veterans when it comes to being one of the best companies to work for in London!

Hilton – McLean, Virginia

Hilton is a global hospitality company, and one of the largest in the world. It was founded in 1919 and has since expanded to over 4,000 properties in more than 100 countries. With its impressive track record, Hilton is a Fortune 500 company with an impressive reputation for exceptional service at every level of its organization.

C.H. Robinson – Eden Prairie, Minnesota

At C.H. Robinson, employees have a strong sense of community. They belong to the company and they feel connected to the organization as a whole and to each other as individuals.   • Intuit was founded in 1983 and is based in Mountain View, California.
  • The company is publicly traded on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.
  • Intuit has more than 7,000 employees worldwide and over 500 million customers.
  • It has generated more than $1 billion in revenue for each of the past three years and ranks No. 29 on the FORTUNE 100 Best Companies To Work For list for 2019 (published in March).
