Best things to bring on beach vacation

When searching for the best things to bring on beach vacation you need to consider these three points. Firstly, you need to choose a nice and authentic beach destination. We know that you want something unique while traveling but don’t forget that going somewhere where locals also travel is always more interesting than other places.

We all know that summer is the fun season. If you are like me, then after a long and exhausting winter, it’s finally time to pack your bags and leave for the beach with friends and family. As another year’s beach vacation begins, you want to be sure that you don’t forget anything essential before heading out the door. Keep reading for a list of everything I take on my beach vacation:

Going on a beach vacation can be very exciting and fun. However, it can also pose some challenges because you have to try to pack everything that you and your family might need. So this can get very stressful and hard to decide what you put in the car.

When you’re going on a vacation, the last thing you want to do is forget your beach essentials. Whether you’re headed to the shore for a week or just a few days, these are the best things to bring on your beach vacation.

A towel: You don’t have to bring a big one, but make sure there’s enough room in your bag for it.

Sunscreen: Make sure it’s waterproof and has an SPF of at least 30!

A hat: You’ll be getting pretty hot out there in the sun—don’t forget your hat!

A sarong: When you get too hot and need to cover up, this will help keep you cool while still looking stylish.

Beach vacations are one of the most relaxing and enjoyable ways to spend your time. If you’re going on a beach vacation, you might be wondering what to bring with you. Here are some things that are great to bring on a beach vacation:

Sunscreen: Sunscreen is essential for any beach trip, but especially if you’re going to be spending time in direct sunlight. You can get burned even if it’s cloudy out, so make sure you have plenty of sunscreen.

Flip-flops: Flip-flops are a must-have for any trip to the beach—you’ll want something comfortable and easy to slip on and off when walking around in wet sand (which is inevitable).

Sunglasses: Sunglasses are also an absolute must-have for any trip to the beach. Make sure they have UV protection! You don’t want your eyesight damaged by too much sun exposure or glare off the water.

Books or magazines: Bring something interesting to read while lounging on a towel (or under an umbrella). If you’re feeling ambitious, try writing down some ideas while there; inspiration can strike at any time!

What to Pack for a Beach Vacation? – Our Checklist

To make it easier for you, I have broken this beach trip packing list up into the categories: clothes, shoes, beach stuff, bags, toiletries, electronics and travel documents.

Beach Trip Packing List – Clothes

What to bring on a beach vacation in terms of clothes really is a personal choice.  But my advice to you is when packing for beach vacation, don’t bring too much, as you just won’t wear it.  You will find that for most of the time you will be in your swimsuit any way.

Keep reading for my tips on how to pack for a beach vacation with regards to clothing.

1. Bikini / Swimsuit

Perhaps one of the most essential things to pack for beach vacation are you bikinis.  I recommend you bring 2 swimsuits, one you can wear whilst the other one is drying.

2. Swim Cover Up or Sarong

Also, when packing for beach holiday, you will need of course a swimsuit cover.  This is perfect for wearing down to the beach, but you might prefer a sarong as you can also use this to cover your shoulders or legs if your visiting anywhere that has temples or monasteries.

Bring 2-3 comfortable pairs of shorts for wearing down to the beach or walking around town.  I like shorts such as the one’s pictured here – click here to check out the price.

4. Tank Tops

You only need around 3 tops which you can mix and match with your shorts.

5. Dresses

Depending on whether you prefer wearing dresses over shorts, I’d recommend you bring 1-2 casual sun dresses.  You might take more dresses and less shorts or vice versa, depending upon your preference, so amend your beach trip checklist as necessary.  Dresses like the one pictured here a perfect and you can dress them up for a casual dinner at night too –click here to check out the price.

Also you might like to bring something a little more formal dress if you want to dine in a posh place.

You may also need to bring a light jacket in case it gets a bit cool or windy at night.  A rain jacket may also be worth while if you are going somewhere that often has down pours, particularly if you during wet season.  3 in 1 jackets are perfect as they keep you warm and protect you from the rain too – click here to find out more about the jacket pictured here.
