As an experienced Colorado summer vacation for couples specialist I know what to do and where to go for the best results.

What if I told you that you and your significant other could go on a Colorado summer vacation together and have the time of your lives, without fighting or having to travel too far away from home? It’s true! Colorado has many things to offer to all kinds of couples. There are options for adventure (or relaxation) seekers who like to do a lot of exploring, as well as couples who prefer to take it easy and enjoy simple pleasures (like the warm sunshine of a summer afternoon!).

Colorado summer vacation for couples

In the summer, Colorado is packed to the gills with tourists from all over the world. The state has more than 300 days of sunshine per year, making it a great place to go on a summer vacation. If you’re looking for a cool place to go with your significant other, Colorado might be just what you’re looking for.

There are lots of things to do when you’re in Colorado, but one of the best ways to spend your vacation is by going on an outdoor adventure with your significant other. You can explore the Rocky Mountains by hiking or rock climbing, or take in some beautiful views while horseback riding. If you’re looking for something a little more laid back, try renting bikes and going on a ride through Denver’s parks or along its many bike paths.

Another great way to spend time together is by enjoying some time at one of Colorado’s many breweries and wineries. The craft beer scene has exploded in recent years and there are tons of different breweries offering unique experiences that both wine and beer drinkers alike will love!

Surrounded by beautiful wilderness and Beaver Creek Mountain, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is top-tier with skiers but is a wondrous place to visit any time of the year. In the winter, the convenience of ski-in/ski-out access to a high-speed chairlift whisking you up the mountain is a major advantage. The nearby Skier’s Bridge, which doubles as one of the hotel’s wedding locations, offers couples the chance to take in a quiet moment surrounded by snow-filled Aspen trees and stellar views over the surrounding valley. And if the timing’s right in the early summer, you can even expect to hike through fairytale-like fields of wildflowers.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch itself is built in a lodge style and boasts contemporary, masculine rooms featuring dark wood and stone textures, and large marble-clad bathrooms with soaking tubs and double vanities. Plus, a destination in its own right for spa aficionados, you’ll love spending time outside the room relaxing together at the stone-lined grotto after a soothing treatment in one of the facility’s 19 treatment rooms, which include both a room dedicated to couple’s services and even a copper soaking tub fit for two.

Look out for the hotel’s resident canines, Bachelor and Scout—we’d argue their cuteness is worth the trip alone.
