Do Moroccans Need Visa For Bali
Visa Documents
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Rabat is authorized to issue visa for foreign nationals provided that they possess stay permit (ID Card) of the Kingdom of Morocco or the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
Before proceeding to the next section, please note:
- Citizens of Morocco and Mauritania are amongst the 169 countries that are exempted from visa requirements to enter Indonesia for a stay of up to 30 days non extendable (for full list of countries and detailed information regarding visa exemption, please visit the Short Visit Visa Free section). The visa exemption is not applicable for journalistic purposes.
- For visit of more than 30 days will need visa prior to arrival in Indonesia.
- Visa approval for citizens of Afghanistan, Cameroon, Israel, Guinea, Liberia, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, and Somalia will need authorization from the Immigration of Indonesia in Jakarta, and therefore the processing time will take longer time, up to 4 to 6 weeks.
- To apply for the visa, each applicants need to come to the Embassy in person. The visa will not be processed if the applicant is not present.
- Your visa must be used for entry into Indonesia within 90 days from the date of issue. If the visa is not used within 90 days from the date of issue, the visa will automatically be declared invalid/cancelled, and you should re-apply for the new visa.
- Having a visa does not guarantee entry. Immigration officer at the port of entry in Indonesia determines the visa holder’s eligibility for admission into Indonesia.
- The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Rabat is closed on Moroccan and Indonesian public holidays, and will not process visa application.
- It is strongly advised that visa applicants contact the Embassy to obtain appointment schedule to ensure optimum service to be provided.

Diplomatic/Service Visa
Holders of Diplomatic/Service passport of 169 countries, including Morocco and Mauritania, are exempted from visa requirements to enter Indonesia for a stay of up to 30 days (for full list of countries and detailed information regarding visa exemption, please visit the Short Visit Visa Free section).

However, if you are going to be posted/assigned in your country’s diplomatic/consular mission in Indonesia, you will still need visa prior to entry to Indonesia. If you arrived in Indonesia for posting without proper visa procedures, you will have to exit Indonesia and process your visa application in the nearest Indonesian mission.
The requirements for posting visa application are as follows:
- Fulfill the visa application form (obtainable in the Embassy)
- Two recent passport sized coloured photographs
- Original passport, valid for more than 6 (six) months
- Diplomatic note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Diplomatic Missions, Consular Posts, or from the United Nations or its Agencies mentioning the purpose of the visit is for posting assignment
- National ID Card of Morocco or Mauritania
- Visa fee is free
Please note that the Embassy will not be able to issue the posting visa without authorization from related institutions in Indonesia, and therefore the processing time for this type of visa is longer, up to 4 to 6 weeks. You should not pay/issue your flight ticket until your visa is approved.
Short-Visit Visa
Citizens of Morocco and Mauritania are amongst the 169 countries that are exempted from visa requirements to enter Indonesia for a stay of up to 30 days (for full list of countries and detailed information regarding visa exemption, please visit the Short Visit Visa Free section). The visa exemption is not applicable for journalistic purposes. If the intended stay in Indonesia is from 30 to 60 days, you will need a visa.
Short-visit visa is applicable for the purpose of tourism, business, socio-cultural, and education, and will be eligible for single entry only with maximum length of stay of 60 days.
If the intended stay in Indonesia is more than 60 days, you will need a 60-day visa and after you arrive in Indonesia, you can apply for extension on your stay period to the nearest Immigration Office.
The requirements for short visit visa application are as follows:
- Fulfill the visa application form (obtainable in the Embassy)
- Two recent passport sized coloured photographs
- Original passport, valid for more than 6 (six) months
- National ID Card of Morocco or Mauritania and its legalized copy
- Bank statement of the last 3 (three) months
If you do not own a bank account, you can provide the bank statement of your parent along with a letter stating that the parent is responsible for you as well as legalized copy of the national ID card of the parent - Letter of invitation from family or institution in Indonesia, stating the purpose of the visit and (if applicable) guaranteeing all expenses will be borne by the inviting institution (for socio-cultural visit)

Proof of accommodation in Indonesia i.e. hotel booking (for tourism visit) - Return flight ticket

Temporary Stay Visa
A temporary stay visa is valid for a maximum stay of 1(one) year and is extendable. It can be used for the purpose of working, joining family member in Indonesia, and other purposes.
To initiate and to get the approval, the sponsor/individual/organization in Indonesia must submit the request for the applicant’s approval from the Directorate General of Immigration of Indonesia in Jakarta, which will send the approval to the Embassy for the issuance of the visa.
The requirements for short visit visa application are as follows:
- Fulfill the visa application form (obtainable in the Embassy)
- Two recent passport sized coloured photographs
- Original passport, valid for more than 6 (six) months
- National ID Card of Morocco or Mauritania and its legalized copy
- Bank statement of the last 3 (three) monthsIf you do not own a bank account, you can provide the bank statement of your parent along with a letter stating that the parent is responsible for you as well as legalized copy of the national ID card of the parent
