How To Apply Family Residence Visa In Qatar

Who can apply for family residence visa? The spouse, dependent children and parents of the following categories of people can apply for residence visa if the sponsor is citizen of Qatar or a permanent resident or it is registered in the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

The Family Residence Visa enables expatriates and their dependants, to stay in Qatar for a maximum period of 5 years. The applicant should be earning QR 27,000 or QR 35,000 per month depending on the number of family members. In order to qualify for the Family Residence Visa, expatriates must have lived in Qatar for 2 years. This can be waived if the applicant owns a property in Qatar worth QR 5 million or higher.
