  Send an email to (with full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality and visa type/purpose of visit) and you will get confirmation letter in 2~3 working days.

  Submit all required documents in person on your appointment date.



  Visa Fee: We accept ONLY CASH (with exact amount / no change available)

  Visa application: 9AM~11:30AM (Mon~Thu) / 8:30AM~11:00 (Fri)

  Visa collection: 3PM~4PM (Mon~Thu) / 11AM~12PM (Fri)

  Date of the passport collection will be given on the same day after submitting application.



  Passport will be kept for the whole visa process duration; in case you need the passport for other important reason, inform us so that you can withdraw the passport after 1 week from your submission date. 


  For Non-UAE Nationals, we only accept applications of UAE residence visa holders with more than 6 months remaining validity on their visa from the application date. (Otherwise, please renew your UAE visa first or apply from your home country)

  For Non-UAE Nationals from 34 countries on the list presented in the linked page*, in addition to the above, they must have stayed continuously for more than 2 years from the application date with a valid residence visa in UAE before they can apply in our consulate here in Dubai.

  UAE Nationals and UAE Residence visa holders of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al-Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah can apply through the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Dubai.

For Abu Dhabi and Al Ain residence visa holders, please apply in the Embassy of Korea in Abu Dhabi. Kindly visit their website for more information:

  All documents MUST BE IN ENGLISH OR KOREAN LANGUAGE ONLY​. If it is written in Arabic, please have it translated first; then submit both the Arabic and the English translation of the document.

  Application should be submitted in person. (No courier service acceptable) 

Representative may also come and submit on the applicant’s behalf given that the applicant had signed on the application form and that the representative will bring the complete documents.

  The application requirements must be complete and correct; and the acceptance of your application is at the discretion of the Visa Officer. Submission of additional documents may be requested when deemed necessary, even after the application is completed. Once the documents are submitted, it will not be returned to the applicant.

  Visa fee is NOT REFUNDABLE even if the application was denied or cancelled. 

  Even if you have a Korean visa you can still be denied entry to Korean soil should an immigration officer find certain requirements unsatisfactory after their inspection.

  • E-5 Special Profession Visa

  • This is a visa specifically for reporters from foreign media. It is a single-entry visa, valid for three months and renewable in one-yearly intervals.

  • It has a maximum length of two years, and it is not available for those who are eligible for the D-8 visa. 
  • D-8 Corporate/Foreign Investor Visa 
  • This comes in four sub-categories: D-8-1 visa (Incorporated Enterprise Investment), D-8-3 visa (Unincorporated Private Enterprise Investment), D-8-2 visa (Business Venture Investment) and the D-8-4 visa (Technology and Business Startup).
  • This visa is for foreign investors involved in technology businesses or businesses requiring special skill. 
  • It is available for 2-5 years depending on the visa sub-type.
