Indian residents can apply for the Muscat Tourist Visa which grants passport holders a week’s vacation in Oman. Everyone knows I have a weakness for visas and all things got to do with passports so I thought what better way to start my blog off than by talking about one of my favorite topic, Visas. The process of applying for a tourist visa was incredibly easy. It took me about 20 minutes from start to end including the time it took me to translate the important steps from Arabic to English using Google Translate (which you should never use). I actually applied for a weekend trip first, only because I wasn’t sure if the process was going to be as easy as I’ve heard. It cost SAR 130 (Rs 2,600) including the visa fee and processing fee. You can access all other application information on their website on this link: http://www.rpe.gov.om/en/services/visa-for-foreigners/
