The golden visa program was introduced by the UAE government in May 2013 till 2020. The decision to introduce golden visa program has increased UAE’s demand of investments homes and businesses.
The golden visa is basically a type of residence permit which is granted to the high net worth investors who are willing to spend large sum of money in a property purchase or making a fixed deposit in any bank. This can be applied by any nationality including non UAE national and expats who have non-Emirati partner for investment purpose.
A 10 year visa (9 year residency permit) or permanent residence (PR) and a possible tax residence in the UAE is available to a non-Emirati family. The main applicant has to be the spouse of an employee or the child of a UAE National. This is known a Golden Visa and it is based on 8 requirements and conditions, which includes an irrevocable trust of USD $500,000.
